The Model 700 SPS Stainless is the next generation of hard-hitting, fully featured, cheap rifles, built to carry on the heritage of the Model 700 BDL Stainless Synthetic. The Model 700 SPS Stainless delivers the unparalleled out-of-the-box accuracy and high-end performance you've come to expect from America's most popular bolt-action centerfire rifle, from the rock-solid receiver construction to the legendary "three rings of steel." The upgraded, ergonomically constructed synthetic stock of the Model 700 SPS Stainless allows for better handling and overall functionality. The 416 stainless steel barreled action is bead blasted and comes clean sans sights, as well as drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Internal fire control components are coated for improved corrosion protection.
A hinged floor plate magazine and swivel studs are included as standard features. Improved, ergonomically constructed synthetic stock is one of the key features. The Magnum and Ultra Mag models have a 26" barrel that is drilled and tapped for scope attachments and has swivel studs.
