Hornady Handgun Hunter® ammo is designed with a bullet that is as tough as the environment and game require. A strong copper alloy is used to make the MonoFlex® pistol bullet, which provides deep penetration and 95 percent weight retention. An elastomer material added to the bullet's open cavity aids expansion across a variety of velocities. The elastomer contracts on impact, then pushes out, causing the bullet to expand more quickly than a typical hollow point design.

MONOFLEX® BULLET TECHNOLOGY
