When cleaning a bolt action rifle, utilize bore guides. Bore guides protect the bore throat while also preventing cleaning solutions from accessing the trigger mechanism. The bore guides on Pro-Shot are composed of aircraft-grade anodized aluminum. The bore guide tips and ends are made of chemically resistant Delrin. The anodized aluminum sleeve secures the brass pin in place and will not come away like other bore guides with plastic parts.
