Lyman 300AAC Headspace Gauge

Lyman recommends inspecting all bottleneck rifle cases after resizing to ensure that the proper headspace size is maintained for the highest level of safety and accuracy. The best way to examine this critical parameter is with a Lyman case length/headspace gauge. The reloader merely measures the case to verify that this does not exceed or fall below the maximum or minimum permitted headspace. The gauge will also identify a case that exceeds the maximum allowed case length. Caution: Any case discovered to have an excessive quantity of headspace should be immediately destroyed.
