All Proof-Positive Rifle Patch Jags are made with a special alloy and secondary treatment process that eliminates brass and ensures barrel safety. This alloy is as soft as brass but has a high tensile strength to prevent bending and cracking when a tight patch is applied.

Traditional brass patch jags have a copper content of more than 60%. When you use excellent copper removal cleansers, your patches will have a blue copper fouling color even if there is no copper in the bore.
