The Ase Utra S series SL5 sound suppressors are available in a variety of calibers, ranging from.222 Rem to.30-06 Spr. Ase Utra Ltd manufactures the S series SL5 suppressors in Finland out of 300 series stainless steel and welds them together. The S series SL5 suppressors are well-built and have a long service life. Suppressor adds only 98 mm to the weapon's length and 44.5 mm in diameter. The suppressors lower the weapon's sound pressure level by 22-30 decibels (depending on caliber, ammunition type, and measurement location). Suppressors also significantly reduce recoil and muzzle flash.

Rifles tested with the AU S series suppressors, comply with the latest personal exposure limit set by the European Directive 2003/10/EC (140 Pa tai 137 dB (C)).
