Maxima Fixed Rings are designed to be the strongest and most durable fixed mounting system available. Typical steel bezel mounts in this class use only 2 screws per ring, have a narrower clamp band and in most cases only absorb kickback in the front ring. The Maxima fixed washers use 4 Torx T15 style Allen screws for secure mounting of the optic. The Maxima Fixed series fits Weaver style cross-lock chainstays and includes a square Warne stainless steel recoil control key in the front and rear rings. This provides a positive 'slip free' recoil surface over the entire base slot and can withstand the toughest recoil. The Maxima Square Recoil Wrench also protects against stamping or shot blasting from the base when used on softer or less durable materials. The bandwidth of the Maxima Fixed ring is also noticeably wider, providing a greater clamping area from the ring to the bezel to hold the optic securely in place.
