The Berger VLD Hunting Rifle Bullet is one of the industry's flattest shooting hunting rifle bullets. VLD Hunting Rifle Bullets have the same design as VLD Target Rifle Bullets, but they have a thinner J4 Precision jacket for faster expansion in game. VLD Hunting Rifle Bullets are designed to penetrate 2-3 inches and then expand to generate a large wound cavity up to 15 inches in diameter. Most creatures die as a result of the hydrostatic stress. VLD Hunting Rifle Bullets have a secant ogive design that reduces drag as the bullet travels to the target.
