The exposed lead tips on our conventional range of bullets allow for controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance. The majority use our groundbreaking secant ogive design, which is one of the most ballistically efficient profiles ever created (see diagram to right). The majority have our patented InterLock® design, which consists of a raised ring inside the jacket that is lodged in the bullet's core, which keeps the core and jacket locked together during expansion to conserve mass and energy.
At all velocities, the jacket thickness is accurately controlled for expansion. Unlike two-piece divided cores, it does not separate. For deep penetration and broad, uniform wound channels that assure swift, clean kills, the InterLock® maintains more mass and energy.
