Hornady® FTX® rounds transformed lever gun ballistics, bringing these popular guns to a new level of performance. Lever gun aficionados may now use a pointed bullet that is safe to load in tubular magazines to get the accuracy, power, and long-range performance they want.
HornadyFlex ®'s Tip® technology, which revolutionized lever rifles, is now available for handguns. Typical hollow point handgun bullets function well at low speeds, but they have a tendency to expand too quickly and lose penetration when fired at greater speeds with lever action weapons.
An InterLock ring mechanically locks the FTXone-piece, ®'s high antimony lead core to the jacket. This, along with a specifically constructed jacket, ensures consistent performance and weight retention for deep penetration on large or heavy-bodied game animals.
