The Hornady® Hot Tub elevates sonic cleaning to new heights. The Hot Tub has a 9-liter capacity and is long enough to fit and sanitize a 16-inch AR-15 upper. In addition to the four transducers, the cleaning action is aided by a heating element, which is especially useful when cleaning gun parts. The microjet action of the Hornady® Hot Tub eliminates carbon residue and other debris from cartridge cases, gun parts, and other metal equipment when used with One Shot® Sonic Clean solution.
Sonic cleaners, unlike typical tumblers, can clean both the inside and outside of cartridge cases and primer pockets. The unit comes with one 1.7 gallon inner tank that may be placed in the main tank to clean numerous smaller batches or to utilize different solutions at the same time. Separate inner tanks are available for purchase. To allow huge objects to fully benefit from the ultrasonic radiation, hanging ropes have been incorporated into the design. The Hot Tub® also has built-in drain pans in the lids, a small parts basket, a degas function, and five temperature settings ranging from 100 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
