The 4-12x40 WHISKEY3 Riflescope from Sig Sauer is equipped with high-quality anti-reflection coated lenses and a QuadPlex reticle. Low-Dispersion (LD) glass was used to create the optical elements in order to deliver true color and increase image resolution. The lenses' strong transmission over the whole visible spectrum thanks to the SpectraCoat complete multi-coatings results in clear, bright images. The optics are shielded from wear and scratching by LensArmor coatings to ensure that the image quality is not diminished by external environmental factors and elements. This riflescope's QuadPlex reticle, which is on the second focal plane and has four medium posts with a fine crosshair, is unquestionably one of its best features.
The windage and elevation knobs are knurled for slip-free operation and offer 1/4 MOA adjustment ranges with 70 MOA increments. Also available with this riflescope is the Sig Ballistic Turret (SBT), which features a precision tactical finger-operated knob. The 1" maintube is made from a durable and lightweight aluminum alloy, and provides a waterproof and fogproof performance.
