The matte black Leupold VX-1 2-7x33 Riflescope is intended for short- to medium-range shooting and is embellished with a 24k gold-plated ring and a medallion. The optical system has a linear field of view range of 44.6-17.8' at 100 yards, Mulitcoat 4 various anti-glare coatings that decrease glare and boost transmission, and a 2-7x zoom. The scope has a 65 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range with a 1/4 MOA impact point correction to assist you correct for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop.
For rifles zeroed at 200 yards, the LR Duplex has a central aiming point, and also has calibrated hold points at 300, 400, and 500 yards. The reticle won't change in size when you change the zoom factor because it is in the second focus plane.
The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is lightweight, strong, fogproof when inflated with nitrogen, and waterproof. Another standout feature is a locked fast-focus eyepiece with a low profile tactile zoom lever that helps you with an immediate one-finger zoom adjustment. It is compatible with 1" riflescope mounting rings.
