The 2-12x42 VX-6 Riflescope from Leupold offers optical excellence and dependability for close-quarters hunting and shooting. The beautifully crafted optical system has a substantial zoom range and Leupold's exclusive Xtended Twilight Lens System (XT) for improved sight in low light. To increase image brightness in dusk and low light, these lens coatings maximize transmission in the blue-violet spectrum. In order to lessen stray light and glare and increase resolution and contrast, the lens borders have also been darkened. Their unique ion-assisted DiamondCoat 2 coatings are added to the outer surfaces of lenses to protect them from scratches and abrasion and to ensure years of service.
The 6061-T6 aluminum alloy housing is filled with a mixture of argon and krypton gases and sealed with O-rings for waterproof and fogproof performance. It is designed to withstand all outdoor situations and heavy use. This optic also has a Twin Bias Spring 6x Erector System with beryllium-copper leaf springs to provide greater recoil resistance. Additionally, the Custom Dial System (CDS) on this riflescope enables you to instantly change the elevation to preferred sight-in ranges.
