The Leupold VX-1 3-9x40 Riflescope in gloss black is intended for close-to-medium-range shooting. The optical system has a magnification range of 3-9x, Mulitcoat 4 multiple anti-glare coatings that decrease glare and improve transmission, and a linear field of view range of 34.6-14.6' at 100 yards. The scope has a 52 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range with a 1/4 MOA impact point correction to assist you compensate for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop.
The Duplex Reticle is distinguished by strong posts and a slender crosshair that stand out against any background or in low light. Because it is located in the second focus plane, the reticle will retain the same size as the zoom factor changes.
The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is lightweight and sturdy, as well as waterproof and fogproof when filled with nitrogen. It is compatible with 1" riflescope mounting rings and has a locked fast-focus eyepiece with a low profile tactile zoom lever for rapid one-finger zoom adjustment.
