The Leupold black 8x42 BX-2 Cascades Binocular combines completely multicoated optics with ergonomic handling to produce a general-purpose pair of glasses that is well-suited to transmit a field of vision that is rich in detail while withstanding the outdoors. Leupold uses their L-Coat anti-reflective lens coating for the BX-2 Cascades series to maximize light transmission and improve image contrast. Phase-corrected BaK4 prisms that produce vivid colors and excellent clarity are a complement to the lens system. The binocular is equipped with twist-up rubber eyecups and a long 18mm eye relief for a comfortable viewing experience even while donning eyeglasses.
