For optimal optical performance, the Legend HD is equipped with completely multicoated extra-low-dispersion (ED) lenses. Color rendition, increased resolution, and dramatic contrast are all provided by ED glass lenses, which nearly eliminate chromatic aberration and color-fringing. The resulting views highlight different details that would be missed by observers using regular binoculars.
