The CZ 455 THUMBHOLE with hefty barrel VARMINT is the model that sport shooters are most interested in. However, none of the hunters will be disappointed; on the contrary, they will be ecstatic. The CZ 455 has a well-proven barrelled action that is complimented by a thick-walled barrel that ensures precision of firing at intermediate to long distances while also allowing for a large number of successive shots without any affects caused by barrel temperature.
This type varies from the CZ 455 VARMINT rimfire rifle in that it has an ergonomically designed stock with a thumb hole. The stock is comprised of a laminated wood that has been specially produced. Because of the stock form and comb height, as well as the lack of mechanical sights, this rifle is ideal for shooting with optical sights, which are securely attached by the dovetail at the upper half of the receiver. A 5-shot plastic magazine comes included with the CZ 455 THUMBHOLE.

The new CZ 455 THUMBHOLE model is based on a classic design, but with several upgrades that influence the majority of the rifle's key components. First and foremost, we have responded to several of our customers' requests for an action that allows barrel interchangeability.
Adapting a new knowledge when making the barrel’s muzzle, which we have acquired in the course of development and manufacture of firearms designed for hunting at long distances, allowed shortening of barrel while retaining traditionally high accuracy. A new method of connecting barrelled-action with the stock is now dominated by only two screws with improved interface securing simpler tightening and superior appearance. This model is without sights. The use of cold hammer forged barrel has been again retained as well as the receiver made from a single billet of high-quality steel. Traditionally uncompromising care for details is projected to each unit of this new rifle and will make envy of other shooters be it at target shooting or while hunting.
