Burris POS Align Insert Set 1"
These offset inserts are only compatible with Burris Signature Rings. One part of the insert is somewhat thicker and the other is slightly thinner than typical. By replacing the regular inserts with a pair of offset inserts, the point of contact is moved approximately 5" at 100 yards for the .005 inserts, 10" for the .010 inserts, and 20" for the .020 inserts.
This will allow a gun to be sighted in that cannot be zeroed using the scope's windage and elevation settings. For professional shooters, the optional offset inserts allow a scope to be brought nearly to complete zero before employing the windage and elevation adjustments solely for the final, fine adjustment. This keeps the erector tube centered in the scope, resulting in better scope clarity and performance. Other Pos-Align inserts, such as "zero" inserts, can be ordered individually.
