Ballistic Performance Of Rifle Bullets By Bryan Litz
Modern rifles have attained previously unheard-of levels of accuracy. In many cases, trajectory modeling, which is based on bullet performance, is the weakest link in the chain of hitting targets. Unfortunately, not all bullet manufacturers are capable of producing highly accurate Ballistic Coefficients (BCs). In many cases, minor inaccuracies in BC can cause you to miss your target. Furthermore, when the BCs are determined differently by different brands, a meaningful apples-to-apples comparison of bullet performance is impossible. This book contains highly accurate ballistic performance data for 400 modern long-range bullets ranging in caliber from .224 to .408 caliber. The Ballistic Coefficient data is based on live fire testing methods that are repeatable to within 1%.
