The Lastenkraxe pack frame is required to use this pack. It isn't capable of being used on its own. The Lastenkraxe Packsack is designed to increase the versatility of the TATONKA Lastenkraxe load carrier by allowing you to enclose objects within a pack when needed. The Packsack simply slips over the top of the Lastenkraxe frame and is firmly attached by Velcro lash tabs, transforming it into a full-size external frame pack. The packsack is made of robust 600D Polyester Textreme and is tough enough to do the job, but it can also be folded and stowed as a little package linked to the Lastenkraxe frame when not in use.
